Can I merge a folder of scans into one PDF?

Yes, and you set the page order before it runs. That is usually the point of doing this rather than converting one at a time.

What about multi-page TIFF files?

Each page in the TIFF becomes a page in the resulting PDF, in order.

Will the text in my scan be searchable?

No. A scan is a picture of text, not text, and this version does no OCR — so the PDF will look right and will not be searchable. That is worth knowing before you archive a hundred of them.

Is there a page limit?

No, and no file-size cap either. It runs on your machine, so there is nothing metering it.
